About Connection Corner
Connection Corner is an initiative of the Center for Enterprise Development (CED). The CED, originally called Manufacturing Enterprise Center, was formed in 1994 by the Board of Directors of the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC). CED is managed by FCEDC and all activities are carried out by FCEDC staff. FCEDC is a county-wide private/public partnership aimed at improving the economic well being of the businesses, communities, and residents of Fond du Lac County.
The CED is a 501(c)(3) corporation. Its purpose in Fond du Lac County is three-fold:
1) To aid in promoting economic growth and diversity;
2) To encourage minority- and women-owned businesses; and
3) To encourage job training and employment opportunities for local unemployed and displaced workers.
